The Du 'Nango For a Cure duathlon race, hosted by the Chittenango Rotary Club, is a combination run and bike race. It is a 2.5 mile run, followed by a 14.3 mile bike, with a 2.5 mile run at the end. One, two or three person teams can register.
The race starts in Sullivan Park, 100 Jill St., Chittenango, NY. The 2014 race will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 9 a.m. Besides the race, there will be kid's activities, free massages by Beth Hogan from Chittenango Massage Therapy, free Bike Support by the Bike Loft East in Manlius http://bikeloft.com/, music/DJ by Mike Keville and food. The Chuck Wagon will serve drinks, hamburgers, hotdogs, snow cones, and more.
The Du 'Nango For a Cure duathlon raises money for breast cancer research, promotes health and wellness, community spirit, fellowship, and fun!
The challenge is for each participant to raise an additional $100 for the race. Donations can be made in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one on the Donations Page of this website.
